What are Offline Maps?
Offline Maps are downloadable maps that allow you to continue exploring, long after your phone signal has died. Think of them as your trusty companion for those adventures that take you off the beaten path.
Offline Maps will continue navigating with voice-guided navigation, POIs, and all the other features of navigating with the internet.
How can I access Offline Maps?
Offline Maps are available directly in the Scenic app. Here is how:
- Tap your profile picture in the side menu
- Tap OFFLINE MAPS
- Select the country and region you want to download to your device
Offline Maps are available to Scenic Premium members, along with many other powerful features to elevate your adventure.
TIP: With Scenic Premium you can download all offline maps you want, any time you want, as many times as you want, to all devices where you are logged in with your Scenic account. Updates for offline maps are pushed out regularly. Because of that, we recommend only to install offline maps for the regions you regularly ride. That makes map updates a lot faster and smaller. You can always download more regions later, for those special trips to other parts of the world.

je hebt een geweldige app gecreëerd en ik ben een van de eerdere gebruikers naar volle tevredenheid.
Met deze 3,5 release zal het allemaal nog wel mooier en beter worden.
Maar er moet bij toch wel wat van het hard.
Ik heb best veel kaarten gekocht en had best nog wel wat credits en waar we begonnen met 17,75 per jaar is het nu 50€!
Wat gebeurd er met mijn aangekochte kaarten en tegoed van credits? En zou het niet iets zijn om klanten van het eerste uur een mooie aanbieding te doen?

Mensen zoals jij, die al een abonnement hadden vóór de prijsverhoging, blijven op hun oude prijs. Jij blijft dus op 17,75 per jaar. Sind jij het abonnment hebt afgesloten is de prijs al meerdere malen gestegen voor nieuwe abonnees. Daar heb jij nooit iets van gemerkt, omdat ik de prijs voor reeds bestaande abonnees altijd ongewijzigd heb gelaten. Er zijn zelfs mensen die op 10 EUR/jaar zitten.

Ik ben sinds 2018 premium klant bij jullie (inderdaad aan €10/j).
Vandaag stel ik vast dat mijn abbonement niet automatisch verlengd werd.
De enige optie die me wordt aangeboden is verlengen aan €49,95/j.

De enige manier waardoor abonnementen niet automatisch vernieuwd worden is (1) als je de automatische vernieuwing hebt opgezegd of (2) als er problemen met je Apple ID betaalmethode zijn. Stuur me a.u.b. een directe e-mail via de e-mail knop onder aan de help pagina.
Is it possible to put scenic in offline mode, but still have cell coverage on the device? This way scenic only uses offline mode for maps and navigation, and the phone can continue receiving important notifications.
There is no switch necessary for that. Scenic will use offline maps, offline routing and offline navigation if you have the offline maps installed. If you don’t want Scenic to use any data, you can go to iOS Settings > Scenic and turn off cellular data there. Then iOS will prevent Scenic for using cellular data all together.
