V4.43 waypoints / stops behaviour while planning

Hello,

I don’t know yet if I like the new layout but thankfully the 2 little arrows icon somewhat brings back the old planning layout to the bottom but there is one major irritation for me, the new Auto/Manual/End, just why?? It was so easy in previous version to simply press and hold and have it “manual”, now i have to waste time back and forth to change from Auto to Manual and then Manual back to Auto… seriously??? 😐 As a route planner this is quite annoying and time wasting! Please bring back the “press and hold” behaviour for the waypoints and stops while still being in “Auto” if some see the need to have them separate. Have a look https://youtu.be/6sIWEzaCZgA

Edit: I also noticed the “Auto” is misbehaving compared to previous version, I didn’t have to put so many waypoints between stops, now i have to make sure i put enough https://youtu.be/FdovFvyhwXg

You don’t have to change the mode. You can just tap one of the three rows above to do a single action without changing the button action.

If you're enjoying Scenic and are happy with the support, please leave a nice rating in the App Store. It would mean a lot to me ❤️

@guidomm thanks i figured that out after the fact lol but it doesn’t change that it’s an extra step versus the “press and hold”!

Yeah. Probably bringing back the long press

Wenn ich 1 mal auf Manuell umgestellt habe, bleibt es bei Manuell,

ich finde die Neue Einstellung besser als vorher.

Guido, von meiner Seite aus kann das gerne so bleiben 👍

Beste Grüße

I don't understand this at all...

OK. So, Tap the little chevron buttons:

And then choose one of these rows in the blue circle, to do that action ONE TIME only. If you want to change the default behavior of the button do that in the last row.
