This actually sounds like it could me more of a mapping issue than a sound issue though. I'd be happy to take a look if you could share the link to the route with me. (use share button above map preview)

Indeed Scenic does not give voice instructions when the ride is paused, nor when it's in edit mode. I also recommend that Scenic has 'Always' location access. In that case it won't matter if you accidentally leave the ride paused. It will auto-resume once movement is detected.

If you had to choose "Hervat Rit" and pay an additional credit (is that what you mean with redeem 1 extra token?) then it means the app crashed while your phone was in your pocket, which is more serious. That should not happen. I'll take a look at the crash reports for that. In any case I have given you some additional credits to compensate for any lost credits because of this.

Next ride will be with a newer iphone (2020) to rule out calculating capacity. I hope soon butt the forecast in the low countries isn’t good the following days.
