Where did extra curvy go ?

I have a premium subscription. Last used the app some months ago and I now cannot see extra curvey route alternative.

The app is of very little use to adv rider if extra curvey is not available.

is this temporary or permanent?

I’m afraid it’s permanent. Since Kurviger (provider of the curvy routing) was had their own app on iOS they made some changes for 3rd parties. More info here: https://scenic.app/forum/topic/send-to-scenic-no-longer-supported-by-kurviger/

Is there any chance “extra curvy” option will be readded to Scenic? I see Kurviger now offers “fast and curvy” as well. This was the best feature of Scenic in my opinion. As the “curvy” and “beauty” options currently in Scenic do not compare to what Kurviger app now provides.

I did some test routings with scenics curvy feature and I must it‘s mainly useless, I did a AB routing and as soon it was possible scenic routes me over a, in germany so called, ‚Bundesstraße‘, main roads with many traffic and mainly straight.

And there are many cuvy alternatives, around the Bundesstraße.

I saw this behaviour on some other routings, too. Even on the roundtrip feature.

No question scenic is the best mobile solution for planning tours, but it‘s a pity that a motorcycle navigation app does not have a good curvy feature, and I fear this will lead some people away from Scenic to kurviger. And I think this is the intention by kurviger.de.

There is something in the works for this. Can't say too much about that. In fact... this is the only thing I'm willing to share about that at the moment 🙂.

Hi Guido, is it already possible to get een update on this? One of the main reasons for met to take a premium subscription was the feature to create round trips over small roads. Now when i generate a route it always takes main roads in stead of small.
