While on an active route, I used the route planner to search for a gas station and added it as a stop.
After that, I only heard the short beep before the voice prompt, but the prompt itself wasn't spoken.
I stopped the navigation and reloaded the route, but it didn't work.
I had to restart Scenic for the voice guidance to work again.
