Verifying an Imported Route

When a route is imported from a third-party source, it would make sense to check during import whether it matches the default settings in the route parameters.
For example, if no unpaved sections are selected, all individual unpaved sections should be displayed. Then you can decide whether to accept them or plan an alternative route.

That happened to me, and I wish I'd known about it beforehand.

This could also be applied to other settings, such as ferries or toll.

A GPX file does not contain any information as to what routing mode and avoidances were selected in the source application.

I know.

But we have routing preferences in Scenic.

I often organize trips for friends.
Sometimes on street bikes and sometimes on adventure bikes.
That's why I need to be sure whether there are any unpaved sections along the route or not.

Ah. I understand now. I have something else in mind to indicate unpaved stretches in the route. Will be coming very soon.
