I do use Scenic on 3 different devices (Smartphone/Tablet/Computer) why do I have to adjust for each device my settings. I understand that you have to decide if you want to download maps, But why are the user Preferences not spread over all diverse by using the account?

That was an early design decision. Maybe I would decide differently if I were to do it all over again. Have some setting sync, and other not. Some users would like some settings in one device compared to other device. Anyway... it's on the list to change this, but definitely not high priority at the moment. Many more things with higher priority.
