Scenic with Carpuride and Carplay

Hi Guido or community,

I ordered Carpuride W712D. First, I want to say, the Screen of Carpuride is excellent and clear, better than iPhone.
Software and uncomplicated. Installing and Handling is uncomplicated.
But there are some problems, with interaction with scenic. Of course the problem could also be with CarPlay.
1. the curser of position is vertical on the right position ( roundabout 1/3 bottom). But on horizontally, it is not in the middle. It is on the right side. See photo. And it’s not important, if the screen is horizontal or vertical.
On scenic it’s correct.(Sorry, I cannot load the photo).

2. The scenic Buttons on the bottom right site are too small. You cannot operate with motorcycle gloves.
3. the to fast warning button for me not good realized. First, the button are too big. Second the Possibility to put the button „ok“ is meaningless. Because the message disappears in a few seconds.

For the first mark, can help the community or Guido?

For the other ones. Guido, have you any ideas. I know, what work and time you invest in scenic. I want to thank you for your incredible dedication and the quality of scenic. Thanks

And my greatest wish is, that Carpuride works without CarPlay, only with the scenic app

Hi Frank,

This is as designed. The left side will show ETA at the bottom left, and navigation instructions at the top left. The current position indicator is a bit to the right so that the route doesn't fall behind those panels.

2. The scenic Buttons on the bottom right site are too small. You cannot operate with motorcycle gloves.

CarPlay works with templates provided by Apple. These buttons are part of these templates. Developers are forced to use these templates. We can't change the button sizes. Having said that, there is a CarPlay setting that might help with that. On CarPlay go to Settings > Display > Smart Display Zoom.

This is also part of the CarPlay templates.

Thank you Guido.
I will show, what I can do with CarPlay. For me CarPlay is the second way to route. Scenic ist really better.
For the first answer to my question I will look for tomorrow.
