Scenic adds wrong waypoint requiring U Turn

Scenic added this little leg for no reason?

Do you have offline maps downloaded, and if so are they up to date?

I have the latest maps, and it routes fine for me

Hi,

it did not add a leg, but it did not finf a proper routing from point 15 to 16, thats why you have to legs. Just simply move point 15 or/and 16 closer to each other and maybe than it will work. Whichever routing option I tested, just camper used your routing if I have no vias added.

All my offline maps are upto date.

The issue is caused by the ‘avoid highways’ switch being on.
Not exactly sure what Scenic classes as highways in the uk but these were just country lanes.

The A515 Buxton Road is classified as highway=trunk, and this road type is usually treated similarly to motorways for route calculation.

Thanks for that, makes sense if you look at it in edit mode, I've got the UK Map Style installed that someone developed so its clear now......
