routing failure

Hi,

sorry but I have another topic and did not find a mailadress to adress that „map“ or „routing“ failure. Arround Munich, Scenic tried twice to direct me from the Autobahn to an exit and back again……either this is a map or routing failure. Could be cause by the transportation mode because with RV routing I almost gave up…..it never works and guides me to gravel roads or roads that are smaller than my RV although the width and height is given.

I don't see any reason why the RV routing would do this. The tags of this road stretch contain nothing preventing an RV from going there: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/864009854 . I will need to check with our routing provider.

At the moment, the RV routing is based on truck routing. It's more meant for "american" sized RV's. In Europe I recommend to use the car routing for RV's.
I'm planning to add a small and big RV routing, but that's going to take a while.

thats what I did, I changed to car routing due to many other issues with RV routing……not a big deal, its my motorcycle navigation system, but why not using it as well in the car and RV when the option is available.

You will find another strange routing south of Nürnberg when reaching the A9. Change the transportation mode and you will find the difference.
