Road contrast when "exploring"

I am using scenic on my motorcycle using Wunderlinq and the motorcycle's thumb wheel to adjust my view while I ride...it is fantastic for identifying alternate routes or interesting detours while riding. The biggest problem that I have, however, is that the line thickness and contrast of smaller roads make them really difficult to see, particularly while riding, where I can only glance down briefly. It would be nice to have a single click "exploration" mode, which brings up the contrast and/or thickness of the roads or maybe even started showing roads that would only have appeared at one additional zoom level forward.
Thanks!
