recalculate route without skipping next via?

When running Scenic in "do not recalculate route" mode, I may want to manually recalculate the route if I go off-route. I know I can trick Scenic into doing this by hitting skip-next-waypoint, but is there a quick way to recalculate without skipping next via?  It seems as if when we get the "Not on route" warning (I use CarPlay) if I could touch that box, it would allow me to recalculate.

I know about auto recalculation and skip via after next turn and ask-if-off-route. None of those really work well when you're leading a bunch of bikes behind you, they all require more situational awareness (or stopping) or interrupt the existing situational awareness (throwing up a dialog box every time scenic thinks I'm off route is distracting and blocks looking at the map).

Any ideas on how to do this?

Tapping the "skip waypoint" button is actually not a trick. When it says "Not on route", this button actually does exactly that. Also the image it the button should change to reflect this (see image below). When tapping that button, it recalculates the route, and you'll get navigation from where you are to the first unreached waypoint and then along the rest of the route again.

If you're enjoying Scenic and are happy with the support, please leave a nice rating in the App Store. It would mean a lot to me ❤️

Omg thank you!!!
