purple bar on top of screen with unknown indications...

Hi, I noticed on my recent trips that the top of the screen of my iPhone sometimes shows a large purple bar across the screen with some indications : either trafic light icon os speed limit icon on the left of this bar, then a varying distance display, either increasing or decreasing in the middle, and the word "vitesse" (french language) on the right. What is it, what is its use, how can I control/disable it ?

You have your "Speed Warning" setting (Navigation and Tracking>Speeding Warnings) set to put that banner up when you exceed the posted speed limit...

Hi , thanks for replying, but this is NOT that bar. It is another one that is not linked to speed excess. Actually the speed excess bar will appear on top of the one I am referring to, and has a slightly different color, and does not contains the same data.

The only other banner that I know of is the Safety Camera warnings...
