But I still wanted to bring it up here, that maybe it would be a good idea to put in a auto save feature that would save every 10 minutes or so to a predefined "autosave.gpx" or something in Favorites, which gets deleted when the route is actually saved. Then, after a crash or power loss, a user could pick up the plan from there.
