No guidance on Carplay

I’m using v4.37 on a Apple Carplay screen.

I designed a 50 mile route and it guided me perfectly to the destination however, when I reversed the route to return home, the turn/distance box usually located at the top left corner disappeared. I only had the purple highlighted road to guide me.

Intrigued, I cleared the route and set Scenic to just take me home which brought the box back. Any idea on why?

Had a few more reports where the turn instructions don't come back after editing a route during a navigation session. It's on my list to investigate.
