Mismatch between Open Street Maps and Scenic 4.06 new downloaded map

There is a gap in our main road in the village that was in both Scenic and OSM. OSM was updated weeks ago and I've just downloaded the latest Scenic map which is still wrong. How long does it take for an updated OSM map to get into Scenic?

The process is described here, but it could be a couple of months.

With the correction on OS being done several weeks ago and a new Scenic map available I assumed that the Scenic map would have used the latest OS map.

I'd not appreciated that there could be a 2 month delay.

"Scenic 4’s map provider regularly (more or less every month) takes an extract of all up-to-date OSM data and pushes map updates out. So, once the correction has been made, it can take around 1 to 2 months for it to appear in Scenic."

No rush although I literally get sent around the houses to get home when I plan in Scenic !
