Reporting map errors

Map errors can be anything from missing roads, missing speed limits, wrong speed limits, being sent into one-way streets from the wrong side, etc.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing Scenic can do about these map errors directly. Scenic uses a 3rd party map provider (HERE maps) and thus depends on the map data from HERE.

HERE does offer ways to report these errors to them directly. There are two ways, actually:

– use the ‘report map errors’ link at the bottom of Settings in Scenic
– Go to https://mapcreator.here.com . This page works best on a desktop and requires registering an account with HERE. It’s a bit more powerful than the previous option.
