Maps seem out of date.

Hello.

Can you provide information how up to date the UK maps are please? As this app seems to be showing an old map for Glasgow UK which has been updated on every other apps that use maps out there, including smaller free ride tracker Apps.

I really want to use Scenic but concerned I’d be using out of date maps.

This location is the UK postcode G3 6NS with the issue on Great Western Road. I reported it awhile ago but no update, so I’m wondering if I need to do something on my end to get up to date maps?

Hi Kieran,

Scenic uses maps from HERE. Their maps are typically up to date. They release map updates every few weeks (at least once a month, sometimes more). Check if there is a map update available for you (tap profile picture in side menu > offline maps). If a map update is available, you will see a big red "Update" button at the top.

If your maps are up to date, and it's still not showing the new roads, you can report it directly to HERE. There are two ways to do that: https://scenic.app/help/reporting-map-errors/ Or is that what you did already when you see "i reported it a while ago"?
