Manual zoom control in automatic zoom mode

Hi Guido,

although the automatic zoom mode in general works well, I nevertheless would appreciate the possibility to be able to change the zoom level manually from time to time even when in automatic mode. In other apps and on some hardware navigators that is possible in the way that the automatic mode is interrupted for a few seconds after hitting the + or - button to return to automatic operation again after a few seconds.

Do you think you could implement that in the app in the future?? It would make the already great app almost perfect for me…!?

Thank you very much!

I understand what you mean. I've added it to the list.

Hi Guido,

last March I sent this request and I wonder if there is hope that this feature could be implemented in the near future or if you can tell how long it might take!?

Best regards

Hi Guido,

I would appreciate this manual zoom buttons in CarPlay, when set to automatic zoom (speed and crossing)

I asked this also long time ago and I know, you are very much loaded with requests.

thanks and greetings from Austria

A 4th zoom mode was added a while back. Manual + Turn based. It adds zoom buttons on the map, while still giving the auto-zoom-in when close to a turn.
This is the one I'm using myself now all the time.
It's not speed based, but I find that a fixed zoom level (when not close to a turn), with the ability to change it manually with the zoom buttons on the map, works very well. Give it a try.

Hi Guido,

yes you are right. It works perfectly.
Better than speed and crossing zoom.

Thanks for your hint.
