Joining recoded rides to a route

I have just completed my Vespa tour 2022 in the Alps crossing all 59 passes above 2.000 metres. The complete tour took 7.400 km and 29 days from Norway and back.

Scenic was just fabulous - from detailed planning ahead and organizing the various stretches to using it when driving. I didn´t spend time planning when travelling - I just followed the line and instructions and it never let me down! What a marvel!!!

I recorded and stored every single day (see some them on the picture). Is there a way to join them into one route, either staying in the catalogue they are or after converting each one to a route in a new catalogue?

What an amazing trip Johan. Congratulations on completing it. I'm a little bit jealous 🙂.

As for merging tracks and routes, this has been on the list for a long time, and I'm planning to add it in the next few months. Until that time, there is a bit of a workaround to at least see them together on the map. Here's a forum post on that: https://scenic.app/forum/topic/combining-multiple-scenic-tracks/#postid-3516

Thanks - I hadn´t scrolled down far enugh to see the selection of maps for recorded rides 😊👍

First I did this on my 2019 iPad mini, but the maps didn’t show up. I then tried it on my iPhone 13, and they are showing up! I tried this because I remembered having read in some post that the different processors (Apple - non Apple) in the various units handled information differently.. Could this be the case?

They should show up on both your devices. Are the rides in your 'recorded ride list' on the iPad mini?

The enclosed image is a printscreen from my iPad mini. It is identical to the iPhone 13 (and navi-iPhone X) as all e 3 units are fully synchronised.
When editing, only that one unit has Scenic open. I then fully close the app to ensure to have them properly synchronised when reopening any unit.

I found the “mistake” when working on an answer for you.

I had the colour for Recorded ride/Trail colour on a very faint, hardly visible colour on the iPad and therefore I believed it was not showing up…😅
