Importing POIs to groups
Quote from Asphalt on 25.05.2026, 11:59I’m considering subscribing to the app. I have several hundred POI locations stored in Google My Maps, named for example like "MUSEUM_NameOfMuseum". Is it possible to import (gpx) them into Scenic’s custom POI groups in bulk based on their names, or do I need to move each POI into the desired POI group manually from the map one by one? Thank you for helping.

Quote from Guido on 25.05.2026, 12:11You can import a Google My Maps link into Scenic through the WebApp (copy paste the link in the WebApp). Then, go to import queue. From there you can import waypoints as a POI group. Here is a section in the walkthrough video that shows how this works. The video shows Google Maps, but you can also paste a Google My Maps link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=em2oAJKWH40&t=1730s
Alternatively you can export a KML file from Google Map Maps and import that through the webapp.
