Hi Guido and community... long time Scenic user, but other than tracking, I had not used the planning and riding features in a long time (sadly, no fun trips on my own...).

So lately I took a couple of rides I planned on Google My Maps, exported to Scenic, checked/corrected any routing issues on the Scenic app, and saved the rides.

However, when on the actual rides, disaster has ensued. As soon as I leave home (I live in NYC so the app easily gets confused trying to figure out if I am on an elevated highway or on the streets underneath), and then instead of just taking me to the next waypoint, keeps rerouting. At first, since the ride starts and ends at home, as soon as it thinks I missed the first waypoint (which I did NOT), it just wants to take me to the end (back home)! Skips four hours of riding.  Naturally I don't head home, but from there on, it just wants to reroute me all the time.

I don't remember Scenic ever being like this, it was always super faithful to the planned ride, even if it thought waypoints were missed.  Am perplexed as to which setting I need to use to have it always follow the planned ride. Please help.

Guido, if it would help, I can upload the last planned ride from yesterday. I simply had to pull over and use Google Maps to keep riding to more or less where I wanted to go. Quite frustrating.
