GPX imports not working on new version
Quote from Hood49 on 09.05.2020, 06:11The old version of Scenic would let me import GPX files easily and the route was created in Scenic.
Now I always get the message that
no maps are installed for the region => I have checked and it is installed
Ferry Crossings: I am not going to take a Ferry
I tried all kind of routing modes
I have also checked if I have a premium subscription: yes I have...
Thanks for your support.

Quote from Guido on 09.05.2020, 07:37This message is not related to ferries or routing modes. It means that Scenic thinks* that at least one of the points in the route is in a country, state or province for which you don't have the offline map installed.
But, Scenic can 'think' wrong. E.g. this can happen if the route is very close to a border between countries, states or provinces. The message should indicate for which region the offline map is missing.
Nevertheless, route calculation should still complete, even without offline map (if you have internet connection).
For me to further investigate could you send me an email ('email me' button at bottom of support page) with:
- The GPX file
- A screenshot of the message you are getting
- A screenshot of the offline map screen (Me > Premium & Offline Maps > Offline Maps on Device) with 'Downloaded-Purchased' section expanded
Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience,
Guido
