Delete Waypoint Option Request - Previous or Next
Quote from Zoomer on 05.01.2026, 18:41Hi again,
The same image from my other post is here, but it shows the request I have. In the image below, I have the 'show delete waypoint' option enabled. This is great. What I'd love is to be able to have it delete the previous waypoint as well as the next waypoint. This doesn't have to be two buttons, but perhaps an add on setting in the 'delete waypoint' toggle in settings.
For me, I may follow a road and pass a waypoint. Scenic then tries to get me to loop back to hit that waypoint, which I often don't want to do. I rarely want to delete the next waypoint, but if I've passed a waypoint and I know that I'm going in the right direction, I don't want to be told to do a U-turn. Eventually it will give up, but I would really like to delete the last / previous waypoint.
Thats it.
Cheers and thanks.

If you pass/miss a waypoint, and Scenic tries to loop you back, that waypoint IS the next waypoint as far as Scenic is concerned. You didn't reach it yet, and Scenic tries to guide you to the first unreached waypoint even if you passed that on purpose (Scenic doesn't know if you passed it on purpose or by accident). Tapping the button in that case will put you back on track.
