Confusing route compared to Google Maps in UK

I am on the road in the UK currently and have a confusing behavior while trying to create a route.

You can see the weird route selection in Scenic compared to the logically picked road in Google Maps looking at the two attached images below (waypoint 13 is at 51.649582,-2.335715):

This is what I‘ve selected as navigation options:

A slightly similar misnavigation happened two weeks ago in Germany, where Scenic wasn‘t able to direct me clearly to a stop but tried to run 15km further to then route back to the plannend stop.

OpenStreetMap (and thus Scenic) thinks this road is still closed:

If this road has opened again (don’t know the area) then this needs to be reported or corrected in the map data: https://scenic.app/help/reporting-map-errors/

I could do this (as an exception) but I don’t know the area and don’t know if the road has opened again.

Hey Guido. Thank you for your hint. We will go there tomorrow, so I will know more.

This however does not really answer the weird behavior I had in Germany two weeks ago.
Unfortunately I don’t have a screenshot or anything else that might help.

Die Straße war freigegeben. Der Belag wurde erneuert und ein Holzzaun als Begrenzung ebenfalls neu gesetzt.

Wie ich das ganze innerhalb von OSM als fehlerhafte Einschränkung melden kann erschließt sich mir leider nicht. Ich kann zwar den Kartenausschnitt wählen und sehe dann den textilen Hinweis auf die Sperrung, doch eine Option zum melden eines Fehlers ist nicht vorhanden und die Beschreibung auf der Scenic Hilfeseite bringt mich diesbezüglich auch nicht weiter.

Gern würde ich das selbst melden, weiß jedoch nicht wie.

Davon abgesehen sind enorm viele Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen sowohl in Wales als auch England falsch. Es ist absolut nicht sinnvoll, sich auf die Angaben von Scenic/OSM zu verlassen. Das ist sehr schade.

Klasse finde ich hingegen, dass die Angaben von Meilen in Km umgerechnet werden, das erspart Kopfrechnen.

To be honest, the road closure was tagged in a strange way for this road. I didn't dare to correct it myself either. I have left a comment now, so I hope that the map editors in the area will pick it up and correct it. Here's a link to the comment I made: https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/4931384
