Coming from ios, now Android. Defferences and bugs
Quote from Knuspermuesli on 23.03.2026, 12:41Hi,
I used Scenic on an iOS device for about two years and have been using it on Android since this year.
Here are the differences and bugs:
- The app language is German, but the configuration menu is in Spanish.
- I have two motorcycles in my profile. On iOS, you could set a default motorcycle that would be automatically selected when saving. This isn't possible on Android.
- It would be nice to be able to adjust the recorded route, at least the time. I sometimes forget to stop recording, and it saves, for example, a two-hour break.
- It would be nice to be able to set a default save folder instead of favorites.
That's all for now. If I notice anything else over the next few weeks/months, I'll post it here.

- The app language is German, but the configuration menu is in Spanish.
Known bug. Will be fixed in upcoming update.
- I have two motorcycles in my profile. On iOS, you could set a default motorcycle that would be automatically selected when saving. This isn't possible on Android.
This wasn't possible on iOS either. iOS always takes the vehicle that the last ride was saved with as default for the next ride. Android should do the same.
- It would be nice to be able to adjust the recorded route, at least the time. I sometimes forget to stop recording, and it saves, for example, a two-hour break.
OK. We'll add it to the list. This isn't possible in iOS either at the moment.
- It would be nice to be able to set a default save folder instead of favorites.
This follows same principle as the vehicle. By default, the ride folder will be the last one you saved a ride to.

But that's not the case on android.
I have explicit choose the bike when saving a recorded route.- It would be nice to be able to adjust the recorded route, at least the time. I sometimes forget to stop recording, and it saves, for example, a two-hour break.

I created a folder "nur so" and I save 99% of my rides in that folder.
But when I save a new recorded route the default folder is "favorites" and not "nur so"

Bonjour.
Cordialement
En vous remerciant.

Hello.
I bought the Scenic app on iOS a long time ago with a one-time payment.
I'm thinking about getting a new phone and I'm hesitating between an iPhone 17 Pro Max and a Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Switching platforms (iOS -> Android) means having to reinstall all the apps to find equivalent versions.
The fact that Scenic is now available on Android is perfect timing because I can't imagine being without my Scenic.
Is the one-time purchase made on iOS valid for the Android version, or will I have to make a new purchase?
If I log in with the same profile as on iOS, will I find all my settings, routes, and locations saved over the years on Android?
Thank you.
Sincerely
