Changing the transportmodus
Quote from Nazguel on 22.04.2025, 23:39Good morning Guido,
I´ve problem with the routing. I don´t know if it´s a bug or I´ve to made an "adjustment". Can you please help?
Problem:
On a ride I start navigate to a POI or my home. Senic offers me a route (Motorcycle, curvey!!). I start the route and after a few km I take to go a different way (maybe a blocked street).
Then scenic calculates new, this is correct! But it always calculates in modus car or motorcycle standart after this point. But I want the curvey route!
You understand the problem?
Iphone and scenic are on the newest SW versions!
Thank you,
Holger

TLDR: make sure that detour behaviour is NOT set to “guide me to the first unreached stop”
Some background:
Curvy routes are “generated”/created by adding via points to the route to force the route to take curvy routes, and the roads between those via points are calculated with a normal (non-curvy) routing mode, because those are fast and don’t need a connection.
During a recalculation, the route is not regenerated (as that would be slow and require a connection). But rather, the route to the next via points is recalculated. This means that, for curvy generated routes, it’s important to NOT have detour behaviour set to “guide me to the first unreached stop” as that would indeed remove all via points, and in essence you’d loose the curvy route.
Here is more info on the detour behaviour: https://scenic.app/help/detour-behaviour-scenic/
Hope this helps.
Best regards,Guido

It was on point: "zum ersten unerreichten Stopp"I changed it now to the: "zum ersten unerreichten Via Punkt"
Thanks a lot, I´ll try this on my next tour!
