CarPlay - follow track mode - how many kilometers remain to the end of the track ?

I hope I’ve explained the idea clearly.

It would be nice to have, within the route to follow, not only the solid color you select, but also some kind of indication—such as an arrow or something similar—that shows the direction of travel, like a series of “>” running along the entire track at fairly close intervals.
This is because, if the track crosses itself—for example between the outbound and return legs—there is a risk of not following the correct path and ending up going in the wrong direction.
Would it be possible to add this kind of information?
