can’t use new web tool on ipad

I wanted to try the web planner on an ipad, but it won’t allow my location and you don’t get an option to select the website as per the pop up advise.

On my iPad, I use the normal Scenic-App. What should be the advantages to use the web-Version on the iPad?

Not sure I just wanted to compare the functions and see if it behaved differently.
