I find Scenic a better system for route planning as compared to Garmin. But BMW being BMW, an easy solution is not always available.

I'm not sure the BMW Navigators also work with the Garmin Drive app (as the BMW Navigators are basically rebranded Garmins).
To export a GPX file from a route, select the route from your route list, and then tap the 'export GPX' button at the bottom. There are still some improvements to make (e.g. https://scenic.app/forum/topic/route-export-to-garmin-zumo-xt/), but these are already on the feature request list.
