App on different devices

Hi, I have just purchased Scenic and installed on my IphoneX which I run for my Australian phone number. I have recently purchased a new Iphone SE Gen 2 for Canada use with a new sim card  and wanted to make sure I can use the App on both devices. Will this cause issues?

Hi Tony,

Scenic will work on multiple devices, and your data will sync. Just make sure you are logged into Scenic with the same account. And I recommend not to have Scenic open on both devices at the same time, as this can sometimes cause syncing issues.

For some reason I do have problem to download offline maps to my

iPhone 5S
iOS 12.5.5
scenic version 2.4.2 - it would not take anything newer

I'm trying to use this OLD phone on my VERSYS because already 2 iPhones got unstable camera just after few rides.

New iPhone 13mini and mini iPad 5 have no problem with downloading offline maps

Hi Ivan,

Scenic 2 uses different maps, from a different server. Are you using a VPN connection by any chance? This has been known to interfere with the downloads of the old maps.

B.t.w. there are some things to keep in mind with using the two versions simultaneously. You can read about those here: https://scenic.app/help/scenic-3-info/

thanx for quick reply, i don't use VPN. When I try to download maps it acts like file is not there, i can make video of that action if it helps.

Strange... I just tried with the old version, and it's working for me. What region are you trying to download?
Perhaps a video might help yes.

I'm sorry Ivan... not sure what's going on. Here's a video I just made. Same Scenic version. Same map region: https://share.icloud.com/photos/065N8vgumPIdEBBzXCM9IwUHQ

It must be something specific to your situation I believe. Does your device have enough disk space (Scenic should give a warning if it doesn't but perhaps check anyway). Otherwise trying through a different wifi / hotspot, or over cellular data, might be worth a try.

hmm....OK, I will keep trying different ways, iPhone is empty, I wanna use it only as navigation.

I even add up some credits on my account and no change....

Search is over......;) , in my account I CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION from APPLE, and download maps

In my account (SCENIC) i went 1 line down from OFFLINE MAPS and cancel APPLE subscriptions,

and after that all downloads went without problems.....
