Android first rides feedback NL
Quote from Corne on 12.04.2026, 08:34Hi, i am glad scenic is now available on android but: 😉
when planning a route road blocks or deviations are not known by scenic
When hitting a roadblock there is no deviation button to go around the block
When i am connected via wifi with my dashcam (e.g. no internet via wifi but wifi is connected) scenic does not connect to the providers data meaning it does not see internet
When scenic has no internet and i take a wrong turn, it will try to reroute and drops my route. No way to get a working route back after that. I did not have offline maps yet when this happened, will have to retest this
Sometimes audio dissapears. Sometimes audio is too slow and the turn is already done.
the map rotates to north oriented when i come to a stop, verry anoing
So far for now. Will keep you posted. 😉

Might be standard Android behaviour. I'm certain it is standard behaviour in iOS. On iOS, if wifi is connected, but wifi doesn't have internet, there is no fallback to cellular data. Do any other apps that require internet work when you are connected to dashcam wifi?

Fix is ready, but not sure it was deployed already. What Scenic version are you running?

Will investigate.
