"Zoomroute mode" sometime switch back to 2D

I'm assuming, when you say "Zoom to route", you mean "Turn based zoom" (Abbiegungsbasierter Zoom), correct?
If so, then this behaviour is normal. The turn-based-zoom nog only changes zoom level, but also dynamically changes the 3D camera angle of the map. If the next turn is far away, the map will be zoomed out and almost be like 2D. Whe you get closer to the turn, the map will gradually zoom in and move from 2D to 3D.
