Zoom with BMW Wonderwheel

I am running Scenic 3.54 with a WunderLINQ on a 2016 BMW S1000XR. When trying to zoom with the click wheel I get a “Requires Manual Zoom” notification on screen. I can’t figure out how to fix that setting, it was a feature I used frequently and found it hugely useful.

I appreciate any help. Loving the app, I recommend to all my riding buddies.

You need to select manual zoom through the zoom button in the navigation menu:

Hello Guido,

is there any chance to change the zoom "level" from the BMW wonderwheel? I´ve to turn the wheel very often to get an overview or the other direction zoom in.

I would have bigger steps with one teeth of the wonder wheel.

Should be easy enough to implement. Strange, though, as I've not had other WunderLINQ users with this feedback. Are you running the latest version of Scenic (v3.63)? You can see version number at bottom of Settings.

Any other WunderLINQ users that would like to see the zoom steps bigger?

Fast response!!

Yes, I´m using v3.63, and IOS also the latest version.

I was used to the BMW system (Navigator) and there it was faster to zoom in and out. At junction or to get an overview it´s nicer when it´s faster.

But anyway, the complete system is runing fast and reliable! That´s perfect!

I also use the BMW Wonderwheel together with WunderLINQ, and yes, I have to scroll quite a bit until I get the zoom I want, you do get used to it but it is somtimes just too much.

The problem will be to get the "right" steps for eveyone out there.

Maybe the posibility to self adjust in some settig the "turn ratio" to "zoom ratio", If that is not all too dificult to programm?

Otherwise yes, bigger steps would be welcome

OK. Thanks Mel, Thanks Nazguel. As a quick fix I'll increase the zoom change for the moment. In a later version I can make this customizable.

Yes. V 3.65 has a minor increase.
