Wrong distance of saved track

Hi together,

yesterday I observed a strange behavior after saving my trip. In advance I created a route which I followed exactly. Distance Calculation in advance was 425 km. After completion of the trip Scenic shows 406 km. BMW Connected App shows 425 driven kilometers. So I took the trip and created a new route from it. Now Scenic shows again 425 planned kilometers when I follow the saved track.
So may there be a calculation error? While writing this I am on my trip home on break. There‘s again a mismatch between Scenic and the BMW Connected App. Scenic 269 km vs. BMW 278 km. Let‘s what difference it will be tonight back home.
Any solutions maybe or did anybody experience the same problem?

Not sure without seeing the track itself. But have a hypothesis: check for straight lines in the track (specifically after locations where you took a break), and check if Scenic has ‘always’, location access. thanks for your quick response.

I checked for strait lines. But everything seems to be perfect. Scenic calculates my todays ride with 418 km. My bike says 430 km. When I take the saved track from Scenic and create a new route with it and I follow the line precisely, it says 431 km as it should be.
If you like, I can send you the tracks. Would it help to delete Scenic and install it again?

I don't think a reinstall will help. If you could share the link to the ride with me that would be great. (Select ride from list and then tap 'Share' button). If you prefer you can send it over email. Or here if you don't mind everyone seeing it.

Found the issue. Will be fixed in the upcoming version (3.10). The fix will only apply to new rides. It will not correct the rides you already did.
