Where is the pink line?

I experience strange behavior when starting a ride. When I key in a destination on the home screen and have a trip calculated, a route appears. Then when I start the navigation I see the directions in the top left and I hear the voice. So far so good. However, the pink route line on the map does not appear. I have to start blind. This only comes when I'm on the road for a few minutes. Frankly speeking, this doesn't feel comfortable.
I am using version 3.06.

Strange. Definitely something wrong. This should not happen. A few follow up questions if you don’t mind:

Does this happen all the time for you, or was it just this once?

Did the route line reappear at a certain ‘event’? Like when you deviated from the route or when you passed a turn instruction?

It first occurred to me last week when I was setting up the way back home after a stop. I did this using: pause, go home, resume. I noticed that the route line was gone for some time.

Yesterday I drove away with an entered destination. The route line stayed away until +/- the first turn.

I tried without motor today:
Setting a destination gives the same behavior (you’ve seen the screen copies),
No difference with or without POI (cameras) on,
No difference whether I choose a route or a destination,
Tried again at home (with GPS) without moving. After a few minutes, the line appears.

I get the feeling that I need to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Ok. Very weird. I have a few trips this weekend. Will try and reproduce in all kinds of Scenarios.

You could try a reinstall. Theoretically that shouldn’t make a difference but you never know with these kind of strange behaviors. Let me know how it goes?

Hi Guido,

I just reinstalled the app and it seems to work fine now. I started a route and tried several modifications by pausing and resuming. The pink line comes back directly. I can’t reproduce the error anymore.

I let you know if it happens again.
