There is this purple flag that is pinned to an intersection in my town. I click on it and it just tells me the name of the town with the option to "look around" which shows a 360 degree view of that intersection like it's come from Street View or something (but better clarity than Street View) and an option to "Add to Route".

When I zoom out on the map (Australia) it shows one other flag at a place called Jindabyne, New South Wales.

I don't remember me placing them there.
