Waypoints vs. Locations in GPX import
Quote from jmossfeld on 30.01.2025, 15:44I imported a GPX file that contains a track (<trk>) and a number of waypoints (wpt). I had previously imported the waypoints into Scenic as locations so that I could apply a specific icon for display. On the map, the waypoint is shown as a pin icon with a star inside. My location icon is a green pin with a stop sign
inside. The star icon covers the location icon. Is there a way to remove the waypoints from the GPX file? I do not see a delete option for the waypoints. My intention is to create stops out of my locations.
I'm attaching a screen shot to show a via, a waypoint from the GPX file, and a location that I moved slightly from the waypoint coordinates just to show the difference.

Probably, this is a location in a folder that you activated in the "layers" panel (second from the top, top-left), similar to the green marker with red diamond.
