Visible from Zoom Level setting

Guido,

First thanks for how you keep improving Scenic with all the updates you provide. I really enjoy having the ability to change map colors back, I’ve missed it and glad it’s back.

Question. When setting up map styles, what map zoom levels you see while on a ride (1 mi, 2 mi, 5 mi etc, etc.) corresponds to what “visible from zoom level” for each road type?

The distances mentioned in the scale do not exactly match the zoom levels you see in the map customizer. (the scale bar grows smaller while you zoom out, before the actual number of the scale changes). If you would like to get a better idea of what zoom level you see at what speed, have a look at Settings > Finetuning > Zoom configuration.
