Vias being imported as Stop waypoints

After using a ChatGPT-generated route, I discovered that via waypoints are imported into Scenic as stop waypoints.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi PatB

Its easier to load your route, tab the lower left button (should be „more“ mine is in german).

Select last option: Convert all stops to vias!

I have used this in the past, but wanted to try and avoid the need to convert all to vias and then look for the ones I wanted to convert back to stops.

I didn't realise my first attempt at submitting this issue got through, but someone replied to that saying, "GPX1.2 format. Scenic correctly differentiates between Stops and Vias". I've instructed ChatGPT to use that next time, so fingers crossed 🙂
