Via point UI bug?

It seems like in this new version every via point looks like a U turn. There is a rounded loop line around every Via point that in version 2 means a U turn. Am I seeing things?

I see why you would think that. However it’s not a u-turn. It’s just that the route is divided into stretches between the via points. Each stretch has its own line and what you see is the end/beginning of a stretch/line.

Ok, maybe I’m just used to version 2 but I’m not a fan of this new visual. It shows extra cluttered information that isn’t needed. I hope you will remove this and go back to how it was in a future update.
