User friendly colours

I live in an area where the map color has lots of green areas. Viewing recorded rides becomes difficult for 2 reasons:

green is the default colour for the tracks, green on green is hard to read.
the green track is too fine, which makes it hard to read.

It would be nice (actually great) if the colour and the width of the tracks of the recorded rides could be adjusted in the user settings.

Hi Astrid.
Color can be adjusted already (Settings > Colors & Style > Trail Color). I can make the width configurable as well in on of the upcoming updates. I have added that to the list.

Hi Guido,

Thanks for your (again) very quick answer. Maybe I'm color blind 😉 or was not clear enough. What I mean is the color of the recorded rides and not the real time track. Changing color in Settings > Colors & Style > Trail Color does not impact the color of the recorded rides, correct?

Being able to change the color of the recorded rides would increase the contrast and would help me in planning a new route while having the previously recorded rides visible on the map (as a layer)

Oops. You are right. That’s a bug. It should change color. Let me revisit this whole topic. As I’m thinking it might be better to have color and thickness choices per folder and not overall.

might need a bit more time to realize this though.

Same issue. Have been using different map styles (primarily the dark one) as a workaround for now. The can be changed on the maps and the power planner in real-time without leaving the screen.
