Use search while navigating

Hi Guide

Maybe I'm asking something that is already build in, if so please let me know and most important where I could find the option because I can't find it.

Is there a possibility to use the search option while navigating in order to search for a shop, sightseeing, different location etc without having to close the route and creating a new one? I know there is the option for POI, gasstations, hospitals etc, but those are static.

If this option does not exist then I'll place it in the future request, or you could do that if its easier ;o)

I understand. Indeed it's difficult to find now, but it is possible.

While navigating, move the map slightly to go to overview/edit mode.
Tap the 'edit route' button
Now you can use the "search" button bottom right.

Found it and it works on the phone, thx. But…. I guess you know what’s coming, is this function also available with CarPlay? If so, where did you hide it because I’m unable to find it there. If not, that would be a welcome addition.

Yep...that's one of the things that still needs to be added on CarPlay.
