Use ipad 5 wifi with Bad Elf

Will the app work on a 5th gen iPad mini, wifi only (no cellular) using a BadElf GPS receiver connected via Bluetooth?

I thought all iPads had built in GPS which means you do not need anything else than the Scenic app on your iPad?

Only iPads with cellular data (that take a SIM card) have a GPS receiver. The BadElf will work though. More users are using Scenic like that.

Unfortunately Apple specs show only the wifi & cellular model has fully functional gps/gnss.
