Use different route calculations in same route
Quote from Bioflap on 25.08.2025, 14:14Hi,
I’m completely in love with using Scenic and I’ve used it for multiple amazing trips. Since the last major update I haven’t been able to plan routes as easy as I used to. When making a long trip from A to B, I would choose the fastest way for a x-period of time, and would then select the “curvy” option for the last part to have a nice ride. However, when planning these long rides, you can only select one type of calculating routes, so it can’t be used for longer trips.
Is it a functionality hidden? Or is it just not possible anymore?

Maik

This was never possible, also not with Scenic 3. What I think you are thinking about, and what I actually recommend for these cases is (i.e. cases where you want to be guided as quickly to the start of the 'nice' part), is to only design the 'nice' part of the route. So, to be clear, you are not planning from the point you want to start, but from the point where the 'nice' part starts.
Then... when you are ready to ride this route, simply select the route and choose to be guided to the route start. Then it will guide you to the route start as quickly as possible. Here is more info on that: https://scenic.app/help/start-a-route-in-the-middle/
Hope this helps/explains.
Best regards,
Guido

maybe you can think about something similar as kurviger is handling the route calculation between two points.
