Unexplained markings on maps

WHAT IS THE LITTLE GREY “HERE” IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF MAP WHEN VIEWING RECORDED RIDES IN LANDSCAPE MODE? THERE APPEARS TO BE A SMALL ARROW UNDERNEATH IT BUT POINTING THERE DOES NOTHING.

It's the icon of the map provider. I need to show this for licensing perspective. It doesn't do anything.
