Unable to Share Link to my route v4.23

When a Share Link 🔗 in V4.23 - Scenic prepares the link, opens the dialogue to select the share target application but then does nothing more. Both iPhone and iPad.

At the moment I am exporting GPX and sending that.

What target app are you selecting? This should be an app that supports sending or opening this link, like a browser, email or messaging app. If you are selecting an app to navigate or further process the route this won’t work with the link. They will need the GPX file and won’t know how to download that through the share link.

Sorry I should have stated - Facebook Messenger. I think that use to work.

I just tried Mail, SMS Messenger and WhatsApp and they did work ✅

Hmmm. You are right. FB Messenger shows in the panel but nothing happens when tapping the icon.

Not sure this is a Scenic issue. This “share sheet” is an iOS component. The apps that show in the sheet is also determined by iOS and the apps you have installed. I will investigate.

I found a solution so that the share link also opens in Facebook messenger. Will be in the next update.
