For off-road routes, and it won’t let you take a specific dirt road, changing the routing mode to bicycle might help. (Like in the example GPX you sent me earlier)

Yea, you can manipulate the track, but not by ‘drawing’, only by adding, moving or deleting waypoints.
For off-road routes, and it won’t let you take a specific dirt road, changing the routing mode to bicycle might help. (Like in the example GPX you sent me earlier)

I don't imagine it's easily (or even not easily) workable, but I'm suddenly imagining a large screen, like a computer (or big ipad) with an area of map showing, and using a mouse or trackpad-pointer (or stylus, or even a finger, for a touch screen) and just dragging from a start point to an end point to draw a line along any path you want to ride, and then having Scenic throw together an actual route, using roads as close as possible to the drawn line - within the limits of the route type and preferences you desire...
