Turn indicators directly on map
Quote from David_G on 10.01.2021, 17:50I really like Scenic for its features!
I am in search for a new and even better navigation software coming from the discontinued "Navigon"-App for iOS.
What I've always missed there are additional turn indicators directly in the map layed on top of the highlighted route. "Sygic" also does that for example.
I've been in numerous situations over the last years where the navigation app tells you to "turn left in 200m" and in reality there is a left turn in front of you on the road you are riding and also several small roads before that turn which often makes it really hard do understand where the app wants you to go.
Is it one of the small roads before the turn or does it actually mean the big turn itself or maybe another small road AFTER that big turn because the app did not see the big turn as an actual turn but rather as normal part of the course of the road?Having extra turn indicators directly on the map would really help recognizing faster!
Best regards, David

Thanks for the suggestion. I really like the idea. In Scenic 3 I'm changing map and routing provider. Let me check the possibilities of the new provider framework. If they offer such a possibility it should be easy to add.
Cheers,
Guido

I want to take up that point for Scenic 4 as well since its even harder to see on the map where the planned turn is.
Are there plans to implement that in future updates for Scenic 4?
