Topographic maps and traffic

Hi Guido,

I would suggest to have another type of map - topographic. I’m not sure if it’s possible to have this feature, but planning scenic rides in highland and hilly areas would be more intuitive.
I also join to all demanding live traffic.

One more feature: to have possibility to display on a map a chosen POIs, eg gas stations, food and hotels. The rest “muted”. As far as I know one can only display one type of POIs at once

I consider myself a power user (No 5 in my country), and I’ve been using Scenic for over 3 years, and I’ve been following the changes with a big “wow “ and and with a great satisfaction that at some point I decided and bet on Scenic as my default app for bike rides. I cannot imagine my motorcycle rides without it. Thank you!

First of all, thanks for being such a loyal Scenic user all this time. I appreciate it.

I am working on a big update at the moment, that will address your points in one way or another:

Topographic maps: It won't be a separate map (maybe I'll add that later), but there will be a "hill shading" layer that you can activate. Here are two screenshots—the first without hill shading and the second with.

Traffic: A traffic layer will also be included. At first, traffic won't be considered in route calculating, but it will show you where traffic is on the map.

Show POIs: This will also be included:
